Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. When I was young, my mom rarely bought valentine cards at the store because they were too expensive. Usually we printed something off the computer and colored them in or made our own with construction paper and doilies. If you are looking for some printable Catholic options, I have scoured the Internet to find free printable valentines. While you can print in color, for a better money saving option print these in black and white and choose a lower quality setting so that you are not using as much ink. You can print these on card stock or computer paper. If you don’t have time to color them in, I would suggest printing them on a pink or red card stock. Either way, with these resources you are saving money and/or time.
1. Shining Light Dolls
They have two types of downloads. The first one are valentines that have Saint and Biblical quotes. Click here for the direct link.
The second has valentine treat cards. So if you are planning to give gummy fish, fruit snacks, jewel shaped pop, bracelet/chain, or a pencil, this would be a great option too! Click here for the direct link. While, with these types of valentines the items you would be buying in addition are not free, I still wanted to include this free printable as another option.
To download either of these from Shining Light Dolls, you will have to “add to cart”. But don’t worry you don’t need to provide any payment. When you check out, you will be sent a follow up email and be directed to download the documents.
2. Holy Heroes
These valentines have Saint quotes from St. Therese, St. Pope John Paul II, St. Joseph Marello, St. Joan of Arce, St. Bernadette, and St. Teresa of Calcutta. Click here for the direct link. Scroll down to find the download.
3. Immaculate Heart Coloring Pages
These valentines are more pictures than words. There are eight different ones which include the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Click here for the direct line. Scroll down on the page and you will see the link to a google drive document.
4. Catholic Icing
This valentine is a St. Valentine’s prayer card. This does require a lot more ink, especially if you print it in color, but the imagery is beautiful! Click here for the download.
Scroll down to the bottom half of the page where it says, “Get your free download Click Here!!!” and you will be back to get the prayer card. When you are printing these, make sure you select the select page option and only print page 3. You don’t want to print the other advertisements on pages 1 and 2.
I hope you enjoy these free printables. Happy Saint Valentine’s Day! Saint Valentine pray for us!
